3. The First Tai Yue: Legend has it that Bo Yi, a descendant of the Yan Emperor’s clan (Gonggong-shi), served as the Grand Priest for Emperor Zhuanxu and became the first Tai Yue. His four sons governed the feudal lords in the four cardinal directions, earning the title Si Yue. Their descendants adopted the official title as their family name, Yue.
