2. The Legend of Liu Xia Hui: The clan was passed down to Zhan Qin (also known as Prince Zhan). He served as a high-ranking official (Shishi, in charge of the penal system and prisons) in the State of Lu. He was granted the Fief of Liuxia (present-day Liuxiatun Town, Puyang, Henan).

3. A Model of Virtue: Zhan Qin was widely known as Liuxia Ji. After his death, he was given the posthumous title "Hui" (meaning benevolent or kind), leading history to remember him as Liuxia Hui. His descendants subsequently adopted Liu as their surname to honor his legacy and his fief.
