【Origin】

1. From Rong Cheng: An official under the Yellow Emperor (Huangdi). He is credited as the earliest inventor of the calendar (Lifia). His descendants adopted the surname "Rong Cheng," which was later shortened to Rong (容).

2. From Zhong Rong: One of the talented sons ("Eight Talents") of Gao Yang (Emperor Zhuanxu). His descendants adopted their ancestor's name as their surname, becoming the Rong (容) clan.
