仇氏图腾释义

【释义】仇即雠，指配偶。《左传》曰：“嘉偶日妃，怨偶日仇。”引以称同伴、配偶。虽有喜、怨之分，但终究是一对。

【起源】源自春秋时宋国大夫仇牧后裔。仇牧为在蒙泽（今河南商丘）被杀的宋缗公报仇而讨伐宋万。宋万在自家宅门外与仇牧展开一场恶斗，仇牧被宋万摔死。仇牧的后代便以他的名字仇为姓，称仇氏。

【Origins】

1. From Qiu Mu of the State of Song: This lineage originates from the descendants of Qiu Mu, a high official (Dafu) of the State of Song during the Spring and Autumn period.

2. Historical Context: Qiu Mu sought to avenge Duke Min of Song, who had been assassinated by Song Wan at Mengze (present-day Shangqiu, Henan). Qiu Mu launched a campaign against Song Wan and engaged him in a fierce battle outside Song Wan's residence. Tragically, Qiu Mu was thrown to his death by the powerful Song Wan. To honor his loyalty and sacrifice, Qiu Mu’s descendants adopted his name, Qiu, as their surname.
